GIANT XCR WHEELSYSTEM — Key Features

  • Dynamic Balanced Lacing (DBL): Enlarged hub flange increases spoke bracing angles, balancing tension for superior lateral and torsional stiffness and more efficient power transfer.
  • High-Tensile-Strength Carbon Spokes: Six-tow carbon construction delivers up to 3× the impact resistance of standard designs while maximizing stiffness-to-weight for rapid acceleration.
  • Optimised Reinforced Layup: Strategic carbon placement enhances strength and stiffness while minimising weight for uncompromising race-day efficiency.
  • Helical-Bevel Ratchet Drive System: A 10° helical engagement between the hub and ratchet rings ensures efficient, consistent power transfer with reduced stress on components, while the 120-tooth helical ratchet delivers rapid 3° engagement for immediate response and precise power delivery.
  • Ratchet Wave Spring: Distributes even pressure for smoother engagement and improved rolling efficiency.
  • Wide Guard Technology: 5mm rounded-edge rim sidewalls provide superior impact protection and reduce pinch flats.
